More on NPR's Investigation
Just a quick link here to the transcript of yesterday's "Talk of the Nation," an NPR show that discussed the organization's investigation into SB1070 and its connections to the private prison industry. This was a very good episode of the show that really got down to the dirty details of CCA's and GEO's influence on the drafting and passing of the legislation.

I have presented my manuscript about the only private prison in Minnesota run by CCA. The book was accepted and when finished will take you inside the private prison sector. The book gives you a true inside to the management and politics that tok place there and how eventually CCAPCF closed bringing economic hardship to the rural town.

In the end CCAPFC closed bringing economic hardship to Appleton MN The book also details problems with CCA such as escapes, assaults, hiring practices, turn-over, and questionable practices.
